TRD Lowering Springs?
So I've been looking at the TRD parts catalog (the Canadian one), and it lists TRD lowering springs for a couple of cars, but the FR-S isn't listed. I know the people who buy the Five Axis kit are offered lowering springs (the car I test drove had them).
Are these not available to purchase for the FR-S without the Five Axis kit? When will TRD release the springs for the FR-S, then? I'm planning on buying the car in a month or so and would rather have the springs worked into the payments rather than paying the full price up front for them later on. |

The TRD springs are made by Eibach, TRDs springs I was told will be fall to winter and basically be just more money.. So just buy Eibach Pro Lowering Springs to go an inch. If you want lower get the Eibach Sportlines but that brings it down to 1.4-1.6 inches lower. For the roads here and to maintain a good ride the Pro kit at 1" works really well IMO. Also they work well with stock struts etc...

Well as did I but then you'll be waiting awhile for sure. 1" doesent hurt anything it's past that. Even at 1" I needed to adjust back camber so I chose whiteline bushings to correct that.

I think I might just wait for the TRD ones and then compare when they are available. I'll probably just end up waiting until next spring/summer to install them though. I refuse to wait until fall or winter to buy a car with them already installed, and a higher ride height might not be a bad thing considering the winters here haha.

Ahh ok mines just a summer toy, yes winters suck I'd leave it stock height then for sure.
not sure if dealers in CGY would be quicker then Edmonton but the fall to winter comment was from Mayfield in Edm.

I emailed one of the dealerships here earlier today so I'll have to wait for their reply and see what they say.

I'm pretty sure the springs offered with the Five Axis kit are Tein H Tech springs, not TRD.

What about any warranty issues with stock struts? Will they take care of that too? |

If you don't mind answering, how do white line bushings correct the negative camber? If the car is lowered, won't we need a complete adj lower control arm to correct the camber? |

Yeah, you can go to your Toyota dealer and ask them about lowering springs for the FR-S. Just beware, they will charge you A LOT more for them.
