Good to know, I hadn't seen that one. It certainly does look like it means business, though I'm not one to spend that much. And I know the AutoX guys will want the two-point bar only due to rules.

And honestly, when it comes to the difference in weight, I need to lose it more than my car does.

First and foremost, we're offering ACTUAL data, and taking feedback from the community to create something that is truly a conglomeration of wants and ideas. At the end of the day its nice to know that you purchased something that is achieving the goals you were interested in when you purchased said product. I don't see any other company doing anything like that. If there is one thing you take away from that question, this should be that one thing.

Second, we're going to be substantially less expensive. $100 dollars is a lot of money for something that achieves the same goal.

Third, we're shooting for an OEM look, something for the people that are interested in taking that direction with their car. We're not looking to make jewelry here, or we wouldn't be doing any testing at all.

Fourth, maintains legality in some SCCA Autox classes, and is quickly and easily removable for those who want to compete in classes where it is not legal. Your oem bars are still in place, you don't even have to carry them around in your tool box, just unbolt the bar, take it off, and put the nuts back on.

This is really a comparison of apples to oranges. Want a Hotchkis or AEM triangulation bar? Buy one, because the strut tower brace we're working on achieves different goals, and is for a different customer.

Happy Friday everyone! We've been doing some more testing on our closed track Hoping to show off some results next week.

Well, can't make promises just yet, but we're shooting to begin production in about a week and a half. So, we'll nail down the details this week based on the results of our testing last week. Between the brackets, the bars, the welding and the powdercoating, I would expect to begin shipping parts 6-8wks later. So, realistically, we've looking at 9-10wks from today. Mid to late June?

Hope everybody enjoyed a safe weekend! We finally had some warm weather and sun up here in Minnesota, so a few of us had a chance to bring the personal projects out to play.

I think it's probably safe to assume that everybody wants to see the final product. When we have the final product, we'll be very excited to show it off.

This comes up in each of our threads, but we never accept payment or expect any sort of commitment until we have a real product and test results to share. We'll start a list of interested parties a few weeks before then, but all that list does is ensure that you have the opportunity to buy the brace at a price that's typically well below retail.
