Personally, I love 370Zs. It's just a little bit out of my price range...

Don't pay attention to 370z guys. They don't know squat about handli because their cars handle like crap. Have a look at the car and driver (I think) review where they ended up putting a nismo 370z in to the wall at the first corner of the track because the brakes aren't adequate..
Right There is proof that paper numbers don't mean shit

Btw, its not like the 350z/370z have turbo either. Tho, if there is some speculations of S16 I highly have to consider it. But a good audience for the GT86 is the key of this trend resurrecting. Hearing that Honda, Nissan, Mazda?

It's cool that Toyoda wants it to happen, and that this thing's becoming a reality, but look at the way sports cars are praised in the media now. The GT-R and EVO received great marks because they made the driver look like he/she knew what they were doing. Hell, the 370Z will rev match downshifts for you. When the 86's computer goes "You want me to do.. what? Hehehehe good luck pal, you're on your own!" and something that would have been a cakewalk for either of those vehicles turns into an embarrassment in the 86, that's not going to sit well with the driver. No one buys a car to have their ego crushed, at least not on purpose.

![]() If you think about it, we've been in a transition towards less and less driver involvement in cars that perhaps we have lost our way with driving. In a GTR, you can throw it into a fairly sharp corner at 60mph and come out on the other side alive, but if you did it in a BRZ, with TCS off, the tail end will come out and you'll spin. And people hate that. So the GTR is the better car for them. Perhaps you're right, maybe this car is better left to the enthusiasts. So we can appreciate true driving feel. But at the same time, we need to make sure that Toyota knows that our numbers are growing, and that we want more. It can't stop here at the AS1, we have to keep pushing to bigger and better things! :happy0180:

Oh 370z.com I thought it was the370Z forums because those guys are pretty chill, alot of them are people I know from my last car club. Sucks that they think all those bad things about our car before even giving it a chance. Sometimes things on paper isn't what is actually is...

Some of the reviews said the TCS was too aggressive, though. So they might be alright. It's not like a nicely balanced FR is terribly difficult to learn and predict, but if they're measuring against super understeering FF cars and magic nanny AWD cars, there might be some frustrations. I can't begin to imagine what sort of shameful displays would happen with a non-ABS MR car, which is why I'm trying to buy a Mk1 MR2 - I'm a masochist.

Its going to outsell the Z cars for sure, since its going to be $5-10k less. The Z's are basically the "next step up" so they won't compete directly IMO.
