Intake question

Hi im new to cars and i recently purchased an Injen intake. I am wondering if theres anything i have to do other than installing it? Is there something that needs to be done with the car's computer? Since i see there is the air flow gauge thing that goes into the intake? Haha excuse me for my wordings!

disconnect the battery before starting the install. by the time you are done installing the ecu should be reset. some people will say the car needs tuned to get the most hp gain, but usually not necessary.

you just need minor tools to install this intake.. really easy.

disconnect the black (-) negative terminal of the battery.

Look at some diy/video guide to install the injen intake. There are few on youtube. It's really really easy. I did mine in like 15 minutes.

make sure when you install everything is sealed and tight fit otherwise might cause some vacuum leaks and future problems. Also makes sure your MAF is tightly on there (injen tube).

I don't think OP is mechanically inclined to remove the front bumper. This intake job should be a good DIY start for him.
