Goldwing Autocare. Do all of Tony Grahams tints. Did a good job on my 05 celica. Should have used them this time as well. located on Colonnade

Goldwing did my tint. they did a great job.

Tony Graham wanted to charge $599 to do tint. I said "that sounds really expensive!!!" and they said, "ya, but ithere is a life-time warranty against peeling and bubbling" I told them to "pack sand"

then I went to goldwing and got a quote and it was something like $250 pluss tax and get this, they offer a life-time warranty against peeling and bubbling.

No sweat Paul, I have some more for you.

I will post a quick tutorial on installing stickers before the Friday meet. It's not that difficult, but there are a few key things to look out for.

Thanks for the replies.

I just called GW, they quoted around 240+taxes for the HP charcoal film. Also, Shadesone quoted 290 for a ceramic film.

Is ceramic that much better to justify the extra costs? The only benefits I've read are reducing interference of antenna, but our antennas are not embedded in glass, so this doesn't really matter to me.

That is 20% I personally wouldn't go any darker than 20% or you really start hindering night visibility. With 20% I find I can still back up at night without issue.

I would keep it Ontario legal for the simple fact that if you go over to Quebec they will pull you over and do the light test. I did 35% on the sides and 20% on the back. The back can be darker if you want.

In Ontario it is up to the officers pulling you over to decide if it is too dark, its a safety issue, they want to be able to see you when you get pulled over, best bet around it, roll down your window before he begins to approach the car if your getting pulled over.

I had mine done at Otto's and they said they would not do anything darker than 35% on the side windows. They charge 299 for the tint (I got it thrown in for free) and do it them selves.
