Someone should plug his Go Pro on kamaka's car! Or at least provide him the raw footage this time. Or may be everyone should. If that's happening,I can arrange i Movie for Mac.

Jessie @MyRx has a low mount he fabbed for the front/rear tow hook... have yet to see any of his cool footage though.
I just can't edit like Kamaka... .

I wouldn't risk my iphone 5 outside!

I do think the video from the iphone 5 is much better than the GoPro's... at least better than my old school 1st gen GoPro. but I'm always filling up the memory on my phone fast when I use it to record video.

Chris did you ever get a design from your coworker? Would be great if we had some designs to ooh and ahh over this weekend.

We've gotten the letters down, but just been working out how best to lay it all out for a sticker/shirt design. I think I'm happy with what we have (basically a rough mockup in Photoshop that I wouldn't want to post here), just gotta vectorize it. Also, do you mind if I use the tach image you created in my design?

That's most likely not going to happen, but I'll try to get on Illustrator when I get home tonight and see if I can get at least something for everyone to look at at the meet.

Alright, just threw together a quick vector mockup of the logo my coworker and I put together. Car still needs to be vectorized/stylized. Let me know what you think!

Pretty cool but I would use the front of the car like PMok's instead of the ass end.

Yeah that's what we initially had, but there are three different front ends for this car, and only one back end. Makes it a little easier to include everyone

Don't mind at all, I simply borrowed and modified the one from the BRZ manual.

Very cool! I have to say I don't love the font though. Would be sweet if you could make the road curvy, and maybe somehow work it into the 86 design? Also would be cool if you could work more than 1 car into the design, to indicate that it's a group of cars driving. But I like the overall concept.

Here is a very ROUGH sketch of an idea I had... Maybe someone with more artistic skill can develop it further.

Love the font Chris! Very 80's/90's metal band poster-ish! I think I like the idea of a using a single rear shot vs. multiple fronts, a little simpler. Here's an idea, how about a stylized/cartoonish rear quarter view? Still has the unifying rear view, but with a little more depth?

That's a good idea. I was going to make the road curvy, but just made it straight in a pinch, was trying to throw it together as quickly as possible. I'll try to see if I can fit more than one car in there, though I'd worry about it getting too cluttered, or making the cars so small that they're not recognizable (trying to keep in mind that this might be a sticker, and sized down).

As for the font, my coworker said he has some changes he wants to make to it, so maybe you'll like his other versions better? Any particular reason you don't like the font?

Thanks! I didn't even notice the 80's metal band feel of it, but now that I see it I like it even more! (Probably why I like the design, cause I like all forms of metal/punk/etc and it reminds me of a band poster or something)

Thats a good idea to incorporate the quarter view of the car. It might work better once I make the road twisty too, look like its heading off to tackle some back roads
