That is hillarious because the picture states that it's a Y connection setup. Okay i'm still waiting for dealerships to provide the update. None of the PMs are coming back lolz. Thank you for attempting this!

I checked this part out

SU00300579 << (based on what you stated) this is a front disk brake shim.

I know the picture shows it with the y-connection, which is why I went ahead and ordered them. As for the other part number, that's what it showed as an alternative in the Toyota system. The parts guy got back to me and said it doesn't show in the system. However, he was going to talk to someone in the warehouse to see if they could pull the part and verify it prior to ordering it.

Sweet, if you can get that , you'd be a hero -- i'm doing a serialized search on amayama.com to see if I can pull something up as well.

need to write something up to do an automated search.

You know, I got to thinking, that plug wouldn't have a H11 connector on it because the OEM fogs aren't H11 bulbs either. I'm pretty sure I read that somewhere. So is it possible that we just need the adapter to go to H11 and its good to go? Or it just flat out isn't the right cable?

This is my thought, the correct harness would replace the current one going to the turn signal, then the second pigtail that comes out of it should have an adapter set for the h11. From all the kits built, there was some mention that the oem fogs were h11 bulbs. If not -- what size are they?

This isn't where I thought I saw it, but the BRZ fogs are the same as the GT86 ones. So it should be the same, right? I remember people saying they prefer the glass lenses over the plastic for various reasons, but one was because the plastic would melt with the higher temp h11 bulbs. Hence why we all have been ordering outback fog lights.

Attaching an H11 connector to the pigtail is easy. I, for one, already have the Amazon H11 connectors.

So, the real question remains as stated above: is this the correct harness to replace the current one going to the turn signal, then the second pigtail that comes out of it should connect to the set of the H11, or not? That is the answer we need.

I did not expect it to have an H11 at the split end of the Y harness anyway. Thanks.

I already ordered 2x SU00302583 harnesses from Amayama, so when they show up in a couple weeks, this is what I'm going to do.

I bought H11 splice-in connectors, I'll go pick up some primary wiring, extract and use the pins from the new harnesses to solder together a custom pig-tail then install it to the existing connectors

as close to OEM with what I've got on order as possible

Funny, I'm exactly in the very same situation with 2x SU00302583 ordered locally (but special orders are hard to return to our Stealership), in addition to 2 X H11 splice-in connectors purchased from Amazon.

I think what you've in mind is the best option given the circumstances. Thanks.

Perhaps my line of logic is off, but wouldn't this be a viable option? ^

Then, simply pick up a H8(?) => H11 Connector via the amazon route, etc??

Here is the answer I got from Subaru:
-------------------------------------------------------

Thank you for your inquiry again, the only way to get those harnesses is with the lamp above the fog lamp (Day Time Running Light), yours only has one connector coming off of your DRL, if the vehicle came with fog lamps already there would be two wires coming out of that DRL. The two part numbers for those lamps from Subaru are as follows:

RH 84502CA060 On-line price is $104.78
LD 84502CA070 On-line price is $104.78
----------------------------------------------------------------------

So, in other words I'll just tap into the existing harness.
