There are loony christians too. I've watched documentaries showing them using their children to protest against gay people and hurling abuse at the mourners of dead servicemen at their funerals.

Now the mother of the 2 bombers has stated in a video that the government[FBI] was heavily involved with the eldest of the sons, so who knows what motivated the atrocity?

It's very important for the families of the dead and injured to understand why they did what they did, also for the family of the 2 young men who carried it out.

I wouldn't call that plot thickening. I would call that a parent trying to protect their child.

It's not over just because they caught the first suspects they could find. But it is very likely they'll get convicted. That could take months of investigation and trials. Even then I doubt there will be any real closure. Boston will be hurting for awhile.

Well, being controlled by the FBI is pretty far fetched so I would agree. But I don't blame them for trying to find an external threat. It would take massive leverage to get anything from the FBI though. What could they do? Force him to do it? That doesn't absolve him of his guilt, even if it were true.

Eh, I tend to ignore a lot of these "conspiracy theory" things. They're mostly wrong, and all tend to have that gist of 'the moon landing was fake because gravity' about them.

authorities using scapegoats is a world-wide problem

the only difference is that in countries like Russia, no one is ever saying: "omg i can't believe that something like this could possibly happen in my country, in a million years, ever-ever."


Westerners are very naive in this regard even though there have been a constant stream of corrupt politicians/police/authority figures cases every year.
