Omg, that's not the best of areas. At all. If that address is correct. It brings up a maid service on google maps.

Edit: I guess its ok right at that spot. Just a block north up to baseline is another world.

Its a community type of apartment. So maybe outside the apartments is it rough?

My dumb ass friend accidentally picked up a hooker near there. "Was a real nice girl than she asked for money" said he meet her near there and than she invited him.back to her place. Never got the whole story I was to busy making fun if him.

Good place?

I think...
About a block south from there are million dollar homes. Half a block north is pretty much the hood. Welcome to Phoenix.

Sounds like where I live now honestly. Similar community style type of apartments secluded from the neighborhood. Giant houses one way and a few blocks in another directions rough to say the least. Well looking like moving out there is going to be blind for the first year. I appreciate everyone helping.

Is this area still clost to anyone or car functions?

The area half a block north is the town of Guadalupe. It's basically a Yaqui Indian reservation in the middle of the other cities. Most of the inhabitants are quite poor, and while it's fun to visit from time to time (carnival day at Easter especially!) it is a high crime, low police patrol area. Due to very legitimate concerns on behalf of the townspeople, the Sheriff was de-funded, so the only police patrols are the handful of policemen that work for the town. If you pull up heat maps of crime in that area, petty theft is very high in the surrounding 1 mile around Guadalupe (and nonexistent within, possibly due to no reporting).

It's a curious place. Don't speed there, it's both a speed trap (15 MPH) and there are legitimately young children who run across the main road when not in school. Also, chickens (being chased by young children, most like).

Hmmm dont get me wrong this was not my first choice of places to live. Bad thing is with just now getting this job I only had two weeks to search and availability went very fast in the places I was looking at. I wanted to live in Tempe and almost got a place in North Phoenix by Deer Valley but realized that was really really far. I think after this lease I will be able to find something nicer and in the meantime just bank what extra I will be making. It is gated which is nice and I plan to get a personal garage. My apartment is also on the third floor so I think I am in the clear. Looks like this may be home for a year.

I googled maped the surrounding area Walmart is right down the street so I know already what kind of people that place usuaslly attracts just living here in Milwaukee lol.
