I agree. Of course it's all opinion. The convertible has already worn it's welcome out for me and I'm ready for a coupe again or hell, even a sedan. I've considered going with a hard top and just taking out the soft top all together.

yeah, I'm hoping the FT-86 has at least 1-2" more headroom than the S2K. I tried one years ago and might have been able to manage, but never comfortably... (I'm 6'2" but need more headroom than legroom)

I have the feeling more folks like the looks of the original concept than the JDM G Sport look. Lots of ppl around the world ooh'd and aah'd over the G Sport... but it's hard to say how much of that was over the turbocharged prospect vs. the typical Japanese huge wing/tire/hood vent look. I don't think we'll get that body style over here anyway. as for boost... I like fruity beverages with little umbrellas in their glasses... and the 14.7 psi boost that the STi produces would work just fine for me in this car!

im hoping for the ej25 turbo engine because the n/a version its just another engine! the impreza rs sucks! and for the 26-28k price it better have grunt because if not it gets boring after a year! look what happend to the rx-8 at first it was the greates car ever and after a year no body wanted to buy one because it was slow!
and now there are lots of new exiting cars like the genesis coupe and such, if the car comes out only in a n/a version i would rather buy a used s2k put a spoon or mugen hard top on it, save lots of money and look cool in the process!!! my 2 cents! Last edited by fernan2; 02-06-2010 at 01:02 AM. |

Not really sure if I want turbo or N/A..
Clean, consistent power is a good thing, even if turbo can add bigger numbers. This thing isn't just meant to be my highway fast car.. I like to go out and play with my toys. If N/A makes the power more consistent and I can still break em loose.. then I'm all for it. |

^ I agree. You get 40 more hp with just about the same dimensions. After owning an 05 s2k for about a year, I think it would be hard to match the feel of this car.
