Epic post. Thanks.

I wonder how much the TRD exhaust adds to the equation? Maybe little to nothing but a nicer sound and appearance since the Toyota ProCelebrity FR-S cars run both TRD intake and exhaust and claim +10 hp on 100 octane, about the gain you realized on ?? octane fuel. Nice gain for a warrantied performance part.

Can any of you owners comment on your observed mpg decrease / increase? I know Red2Liter chimed in on another post and said -2mpg, though that seemed more than I would have guessed (or just a heavier foot than normal).

Even more reason to buy this intake now since I already had the exhaust frrom the start. The only thing im not liking is the orange tube.... wonder if i can change it to red

Thanks for the useful info. One guy in my local FR-S/BRZ chapter is concerned about power loss as ECU relearns over time referencing the Injen intake. This might be another good test someone can do:

"best way to go about it would be stock baseline no ecu reset... Reset ecu after your pulls and install trd intake, drive the car on the dyno for a little while(simulate normal driving on your aprox 100-150miles,we do this during engine break in's) then allow the car to cool down and rerun dyno"

I can say my ECU has relearned these past few hundred miles/weeks and response with my TRD CAI only got better; definitely not worse.

Thank god. That guy was very annoying with his anti-TRD tirades.

Now back to some TRD intake talk. An average 7.7whp gain is really nice for an intake. Definitely more than I expected. I'm going to get one of these for sure.

AFRs from a different dyno in that post.
So this dyno doesn't have a baseline with no intake? Would be nice to see the corresponding a/f ratios with the one that has the three pulls without the intake and the three that have the intake to see if the power is coming from maf manipulation.

NICE!

I'll have to save my pennies for a little while to justify this one to myself (and the GF) but hey... looks good

That + headers + tune all at once? Awesomeness.
