I installed my Airaid intake at around 850 miles on the odo. So far no problems.

Just keep your stock parts and change back to stock if you need anything serviced under warranty. They can't prove anything if you return it back to stock. I did all my mod work myself so I know how easy it is to return bolt on parts back to stock, but even paying your local mechanic for labor will likely be more cost effective if you ever did need to have anything major serviced under warranty where you're worried the dealership would deny your claim.

Every dealer is different in my experience, its pretty stupid since they all are Subaru dealers. But when it comes down to it they have to prove the part was the problem. I have not done a crank pulley for this exact reason. An over pipe and drop in panel filter are the closest I'm getting to changing the engine, its to new and I don't want to get stuck with some big bill because these things develop a problem. The suspension and brakes on my car are completely changed so I accept that if say the something in the brakes fails I'm probably not covered.

In the end Subaru and the dealers are a business, they want to pass of the expense of any repairs to someone else is they can find a reason to.

I see the OP is in Mass so I will say that the dealer on 114 in Danvers hates aftermarket stuff, even hates if you do your own oil changes.

Yeah, I am on tein coils.

My dealer seems really cool about it all. They are more interested in what I am doing next than anything. I have the fuel pump changed with all my mods and they said nothing.

Love my dealer.
