did people actually think they'd be lit up the entire time the car was on?
Ive always figured they'd work like the courtesy lights which will fade after a few seconds.

Generally Toyota is the slowest out of most manufacturers when it comes to updating their interior.
Most manufactures are using LCD's and high quality displays, even for something as little as the clocks. Toyota is still sticking with the orange/red alarm clock style in their interior.
Toyota tends to milk their components for as long as possible....

they havent done any updating to the PRDL font/style and their digital clocks have been employed (various colors, typically green or red/orange, depends on the interior lights of their cars) since the dawn of time. (they've only started to replace them in their lexus cars with the trendy analog clocks in 2013....).

i dont think their door locks, window switches, power mirror controls, etc have ever been touched or marked for redesign at all.

I think some did. Best I can tell, these will illuminate when the smart key fob holder is within range so you can tell your Series 10 apart from the parking lot full of other Series 10's.

Does Entune include Android compatibility now? I've read that it only works with an iPhone 4. Hopefully the new HU will be compatible with both.

You can see them fading in the autoguide.com video from the NYC auto show. Same is true for the 'SCION' glowing thing on the dashboard, only lights up when you enter the car. Makes the Series 10 more bearable. Now about that shift knob...

My guess would be $1500 to $3000 more than the original MSRP of a FRS due to limited quantities and gt86 features

I can see these headlights being over 1k easy....if thats the case ill just get a plug and play hid kit and spend my money on other things.....if this car came in black then i would consider ordering one, but to only offer 1 color is kind of lame....

That seems kinda low (28%). Anyone know what the current take rate is for manual FR-S's, and BRZs as well?

It has more features than the BRZ Premium (keyless entry, push button start, dual zone a/c), but less features than the Limited (no leather, no heated seats). If the MSRP comes in between the BRZ Premium and Limited, just view the Series 10 as another option level for the two cars (Base FR-S -> BRZ Premium -> FR-S Series 10 -> BRZ Limited). The more choices, the better!

Oh? If so, my region (Portland) includes OR, WA, ID, MT and AK and 70 Toyota dealers (don't know how many are also Scion). That means about 32 6M/T's for Portland Region, so most likely the metro stores will be getting one each.

Nationally, 6M/T availability would be shorter based on roughly 1,850 Toyota dealers (estimated, and Scion count unknown) vying for the 700.

That should help resale value if a Series 10 is on your radar.

I don't know what the allocation policy will be, but think they'll fill legit sold orders first and spread the rest to the best performing Scion dealers.
