Actually that's not necessarily true.

When I was living in Japan about 7 years ago, I was perusing the yahoo auctions (Japanese ebay) and I came across the Sony Playstation Gran Turismo promo DC2 Integra. It was even way more "riced out" than this FR-S. It had a god-awful yellow and red paint job (inside and out) and lambo doors.

After a while, its not uncommon for these "promo cars" to go up for auction when their usefulness is at an end. Someone will end up driving it around eventually.

Still no reason for fighting though.

Very true Scott, plus this vehicle only has an EA Need for Speed wrap on it (by Gatorwraps) and could be taken off any day. Other than that, the other upgrades will easily sell (Magnaflow exhaust, Lexani Wheels, Nitto Tires, Soundstream Audio, Sylvania Lighting, Hose Candy hose covers, KW Suspension) and soon to be turbo charged because these cars are slow with no power. We are still working on it and having fun. We might even auction it off after our tour.

And donate some of the proceeds to charity? It's a nice thing to do AND is a great marketing tool!

No need for any of that now. I know quite a bit about marketing thanks, or at least I hope I do, as it is my major in college! I was not insulting your choice, nor was I trying to insinuate it is entirely impossible to own this car. I was simply making a play off the fact that recently, especially with Origin, EA has been dropping the ball by having massive amounts of micro-transactions in their games.

Not just those transactions, but also with poor upkeep of past games they've released. 2 examples, first of which is personal experience with being unable to play past released Need For Speed on Origin due to the lack of updates so they can be played on more advanced PCs, and secondly, how they've been handling the recent Sims City release, which akin to the release of Diablo 3, many many people are having trouble gaining access to the servers and cannot log on, my brother included. (And they won't grant refunds to people who are tired of not being able to log on and just want their money back!)

So no insult meant to you, or your choice of car, just a play on EA's customer service and ideas of good gaming interfaces.

Yeah, I dislike EA, but I love a lot of the developers they still have. I just go to Steam though, not Origin. I bought the new NFSMW, and for the first hour or so, it was AWESOME. Finding epic cars and stuff, but then it got really boring, really fast. They totally lost the vision of what NFS was about, you can no longer modify cars in your own way, you can find the best cars in just a matter of minutes if you look hard enough, and the race system is too much like a Burnout game. It's disappointing, don't get it. Or if you want to, check out game play videos before you do.

I've played it. It feels like Burnout with cops, IMO. That's not necessarily a bad thing because Burnout is one of my favorite game series ever, but it just didn't feel right. To be honest though, the original vision of NFS was just driving fast cars and running from the cops. I still have the original version sitting on CD somewhere around here. It wasn't until they got into NFS Underground that modifications started.

The NFS community including myself call the game Need for Speed: Burnout Paradise 2. It's the same game as Burnout Paradise but with real cars and slippery handling.

True, but then again, from Underground up to MAYBE Carbon, were some of the best NFS's.
