Problem solved.
Parking at the ferry costs 7 bucks, is there some secret I'm missing out?!

Like everyone says park in the garage, on weekends it's easier to park on the street but still ill advised. Luckily my building offers a discount at my local icon garage 16 for 12hrs

For midtown, I'd park it in the Port Authority lot. You drive the car to a parking spot yourself, you don't hand your car over to a valet. I avoid valet parking at all costs.

Unless you're in a bad area (Which is rare in NYC it self...) then you'll be fine parking on the street.

Exactly, I see exotic cars parked on the streets all the time. Aston Martins, Ferraris, McLarens etc. NYC really isn't that bad.

Unless OP is staying in the area north of Battery Park, I don't think there are a lot of on-street extended parking in the financial district.
