Unfortunately WA does not have the 'tracking' that Eastern States do, While TMCA covers all States except WA, you guys for some reason have a totally different system, so almost like another Country!

If you read back thru posts from around page 10-11 you will see this matter comes up quite a bit from WA buyers - shame really as the time passes maybe a snails pace faster when you can check what's happening!! To think for 3 months i went into it maybe 4-5-6-100 times a day only to see 'still on order'!!!

Your Dealer should be able to give you full updates as things progress - good luck

Thanks Zero, thats what I assumed. The dealer says I am 11th in line at present and they are getting 3-4 a month from now on, so that why I should get it end June. No rush for me, but would like to get it so can start modifying it.

Same for me!! I got a guy coming up from the Gold Coast tomorrow to check out my MX5's, he's looking for one but not sure what model so he can see both of mine - near flipped out when I said the 86 was in the garage doing nothing!! Better take him for a ride in that as well!!

Status changed from "On order" to "Scheduled for production". Production planned month, May.

Damn your lucky, I placed my order in the last week of June last year and my status finally changed from 'on order', to June Production yesterday. I'm getting a red GTS with Aero kit. Been a hell of a long wait just to see those 2 words change and still a couple of months away I guess.

Great news!!!! To get an idea, mine built 26/12 and collected 14/2 - BUT, mine was 13 days from ship to Dealer in Brisbane while 'The Demons' was only unloaded Thursday last week and he picked it up this afternoon - Sydney

I must add that my Dealer was a 'Country' Dealer and not a city one, so the truck would have had to wait for a load before leaving

You should now have an 'estimated latest date' showing, and that's the day it should arrive at the Dealer

That I can see from those that make posts here you would be the longest wait - I won't ask the Dealers name. You may have read that my original order was 2 July and that car [GT MT] was only built last week or this week and due at the Dealer 25 May, so a week short of 11 months

Mate, you have done it bl**dy hard and deserve to really enjoy the day you get to pick it up!! I was thinking last year maybe '86' meaant mine would come before my 86th birthday!! As Maxwell Smart would say 'missed it by THAT much!!'

Hang here with the guys & gals, support each other by swapping who's is where and the time does pass! I've already met 2 forum members from here by pure chance!!

The 86 has created a 'community', believe me!

I actually wanted to pre-order before the car was actually released.. but I couldn't until I made sure I had the funds to purchase it, maintenance etc. By the time I was certain I could afford it, it was already jan! Guess I was a bit fortunate with how fast my order has progressed. (although the dealer did say it would arrive 3-4 months later when I ordered it). Still very happy though regardless!

Your Dealer should be able to tell you the actual date the car is scheduled to roll off the production line - mine was originally 21 December but I think the robots had a few days off over the Christmas period but came back and turned it out on Boxing Day!! I rang the Dealer 29/12 and he said it had come off on that date .. I had delays and it wasn't loaded until 9 Jan I think and the ship sailed for OZ after collecting other makes along the way around Japan on 14 Jan and docked Brisbane 29 January having to sit out Cyclone Oswald off the Sunshine Coast! I know there were also Suzukis on the same ship, saw sticker same ship name and same unload date in the local Dealers

I was going balmy after 3 months and started ringing around QLD Dealers, not city preferring Country! Pure luck that I scored my GTS thru the Gatton Dealer after ringing St George Dealer [same parent Company] - they got an extra from Toyota that matched a guys order from May and I stepped into that original order with build 12/12 and delivery 2/13

Still, I know the pain you have felt as my original GT will not be here until late May! It's sold of course!!

And Toyota wonders why people get the sh*ts!! Actually it's quite disgusting to have to wait that long when other orders are being filled in 2-3-4 months, appears the customer is to blame for ordering from a particular Dealer! Love to know how many others have waited pre 30 June last year!

So go that first 1,000km up yet 'Demons'?? Storms forecast here again T-W-T-F this week!!
