I think those of you wanting the header will really like having both overpipe and header be just right. Not that other overpipes wont fit, they do, more tweaking required of the entire exhaust system vs their overpipe that has the perfect angles right there, I mean thats why it makes sense to try and grab a group buy if you ask me, is if it includes the overpipe. THATS what makes it a really neat solution. From that point back you can mate up whatever overpipe back kit you like

Perrins overpipe fits but there is something left to be desired when mixing vendors on the overpipe/header fit. Clearances could be better, and that is 100% from vendor mix, each vendors bends are a few degrees different... I will permanently replace my Perrin overpipe with the P&L, and keep the rest of my perrin exhaust.

Possibly. I am trying to install the p&l headers. And the nameless front/over combo. So far I hit a snag. I ran out of daylight and it just wasn't fitting. I will try work on it tomorrow.

@Hawaiian what over pipe/front pipes are you running?
Also the loop which is connected with the clamp. Is there suppose to be a gasket?

No gaskets are needed for the V-Band. You should only have a couple for the head flanges. Hawaiian has our Overpipe (he has our full header back system).

Let us know how the install goes and call us if you think we can be of any help.

Also, gem when he had his issues loosened his exhaust, mounted the header, then tightened everything up. It wasn't necessary for me, but when crossing vendors, as gem says, sometimes things can be slightly off.

How did it go today?

dle;876076]Any good news?[/QUOTE]

It went good. The header to over pipe fits good. But there is a slight figment problem with the front pipe to the hanger bracket. It has to be muscle to the passenger side and screwed in. I have a problem with front to mid pipe. I have a definite leak which I need to fix.

The car is slightly louder. 65db to 72db increase. Before the install I had all the noise in the back. Now all the noise is from the engine bay. The nameless front pipe is great and quiet. The header is a bit loud for my taste. But I knew it was gonna be loud, maybe it will grow on me.

I helped a little on this today, it definitely has some rumble up front and i'd caution people that even though mounting locations are the same for most parts the flanges can be a lot different.

@FA20Club.com this is my local friend that needs the tune also i'm a little worried about his afr's.

The header itself has fantastic build quality for sure, nameless pipe looked great too this car is gonna be a beast once Tony gets the tune set up for it with e85.

An ecu reset, and or a flash should work wonders for your car.

Do you think it would be best to go back to stock over pipe and front pipe?

I honestly dont know? I think the sluggish ness is due to the headers because of the o2 sensors, which can be fixed with a tune. I ran the car for about 5 miles after the reset, It is better, but i think i have to run it some more. i will most likely get a tune before i decide to swap different products.

Heres my thoughts on the products im have

P&L Catted and Ceramic headers =
love the craftman ship, but its still too loud for my taste. I never had aftermarket headers before so i have nothing to compare it to. I think it will grow on me since the Db increase only went to 65dB to 72db.
All sound come from the engine now.

Nameless Overpipe/Frontpipe combo with HFC and Resonator:
Also love the craftmanship, but wish there was an option for ceramic coating. no sound can be heard from the front pipe to the rear. its really quiet in cabin.
