You want my opinion.. here goes.

Tow hook is dumb unless it's a track slut.
mud flaps aren't necessary unless you get wider wheels.

Go with a spoiler if those are your only options.

Better yet.. brake pad upgrade, RCE yellow springs, a nice exhaust, etc..

Thanks, I'll save for the spoiler then. I do plan on getting springs, and exhaust later this summer. Brake pads will come whenever I start autocrossing. Probably along with the Brake master cylinder brace.

Although the jury is still out on Opticoating and I am trying to get their chemical properties and what resins they use in their coating, this could be a good mod to throw on. It for sure protects your car, as for the length it is good for, that is up for debate. I can't remember what color your car is but maybe look into window tints as the weather warms up and for sure one of the biggest mods visually you can do is to change the wheels/tires for something else or modify the stock rims.

As far as performace, I would mod it as far as you can without voiding a warranty, until you are reasonably sure your car won't have some kind of engine failure issues.

So I posted these already in the pictures section, but I figured I might post it here as well

Just got my car last week, and love it so far! Did a quick photoshoot between rain storms at a local parking structure

If anyone is in Midland/Bay City/Saginaw for any reason, feel free to look me up!

If you are interested in autocrossing with the intention of competing I would recommend you understand all the rules with respect to the modifications you want to do and what class you would run in. If you are interested in doing it just for fun, knock yourself out!

I will caution though... if you have not done it before, it is incredibly addicting and if you start spending money on mods, you may get the bug and now how to re or un-modify your car in order to compete effectively.... and wasting money is not so fun

Anyone on I75 S this morning in a black FR-S around Joslyn road a little before 7:30?

I was in the WRX, no BRZ today.

Yah, autocrossing would just be purely for fun. It doesn't matter to me what class I'm in.

I think I will vinyl wrap my taillights for now to satisfy my mod itch and start saving for some bigger/better mods.

I used to leave in Midland and know another owner there with a Gray/Silver subbie. I can put you in contact with him if you would like. The car looks great. That FRS plaque in the center armrest area, does that light up or is it just the reflection from the sun on it?

god dammit, i can not believe it. I scratched my car pulling into the garage tonight. Its about an inch long but it looks like it went all the way to the metal. Can anyone recommend a good body shop in metro detroit that I can get this taken care of at? I'd like to get it fixed ASAP. Also, any idea how big of a bill i'm looking at to get this fixed?

First your wheel and now your side, slow down man! lol It will be decently pricey but not sure without seeing it.

Check out autometrics. They did my friends ferraris, my red M3 and my back bumper when it needed replacing and did amazing work. Even with SWP which I hear is hard to match. They aren't cheap but they do free quotes and it's definitely worth the work they do.
