Also theres an option to upgrade to Q+ for 30$. Is there any benefit to this yet or will there be in the future? P.S. Does launch control pretty much limit your revs to a certain # when stopped allowing you to just floor it and shift?

Yea I have the software downloaded and have access to the maps now, but the cable wont stay connected with my computer (the flux2 and the computer wont stay connected).
It says ready, then disconnected. Hopefully we can figure out what the issue is. |

Update 2:
So I contacted Jack and Alan and figured out that the problem was me (haha). I was using the wrong cable (using the one to change the names of the maps). I installed the map and it works a little different for me at this point. When I try to use launch control, it doesn't work. However, under load, it does cut off my RPMs at whichever level my launch control was supposed to be set at. I'm not sure whether it's a user error this time or not, but I'm going to try and tackle it tomorrow. |

Final update:
I could not get it to work. I'm going to take it off and am willing to give it to someone else to try if you want to pick it up or pay for shipping . There are a few members who have started using it but I cannot get it to work. |

Excellent service from Unichip
I just installed a Unichip in my BRZ.....BIG DIFFERENCE! So...decided to take the next step and get the cable to re-map the chip. I had a heck of a time getting things to work, but a quick email to Unichip and I was soon on the phone to Aaron who was able to diagnose a couple of unusual problems. Thanks Unichip for your product and supporting your product.

I'll let you know shortly. I think I figured out what the problem is, but need tot alkt o tony later this week. There's an easy way to checkf or a couple issues that may be occurring (which I did late on friday) but had to tend to some family obligations last night which prevented me from looking at it closer.
I think it may be as simple as having a short somewhere, but what's supposed to occur is that when the clutch is sitting at rest, we are supposed to read 12 volts (or somewhere close, in our case). Likewise, when the clutch is depressed, it should not be reading any volts (or very little). I've confirmed this is the case for me, but there's another issue I have to look into with Tony that may be causing my issues. I think it'll work perfect once fixed, it's just a matter of reaching that point haha. It's actually a fairly simple addition, that took me all of 15 minutes to add (hardest parts was removing some of the covering to access the clutch actuator wires). ML, I may still let you know. |

Glad to hear! I had a couple of similar problems, but they were all user error in that case (I was trying to remap using the wrong cable. I had the one for remapping sitting up in the box still). |

What about the FA20 Club CAI? I still am waiting for mine in the mail and would be happy to send it your way when I get it so you can make a tune for it sooner.
