Joe, I'd like to purchase those lug nuts. I already bought the hub rings. How much just for the lugs?

hate to be mean, but if you cant afford lug nuts maybe modding a car is not the best investment for you right now..

Please go back and re-READ my statement. Where in it do I say I can't afford anything??? Don't put words in people's mouths or should I say posts.

Why do they cost so much, I mean it's good to be cost conscious with some things, if not most things.. but why the high prices of lug nuts, is it because they're the linch-pin of the whole setup.. literally?

i have no clue. my basic guess would be some have better metal, more r&d, or an original design for the shape of it to try and prevent theft. there's also the branding thing.

Why contemplate on how much cost is when they are basically the things holding your wheel on? More $ more reliable especially if you are gonna autox or track..... My 2 cents I'd spend the extra 20-30 bucks maybe even go up too 100 for lugs. I mean your saving so much $ from the wheels themselves

Most of my previous cars have been German and I've had all sorts of aftermarket wheels on them. Some where expensive and others were not. I've never purchased aftermarket lugs for them ever. I usually used the lugs that came with the vehicle and even though I put them through some rough work, including some track time, they've never ever ever gave me any issues. Nor did any of the very reliable shops I took my car to ever said that they needed any attention. So it is a bit surprising to me that people are spending so much on lugs. I can see people spending more money because the lugs come in some different (see flashy) colors and what not, but I can't, personally, see any real advantages on spending more on lugs, especially when they're charging 3 to 4 times north of reliable ones. Now if you're a hard charging track star and all that I can see why's of it, but for the 90% of people out there it seems just more hype and ways to seperate you from your hard earned dollars, IMO.

If you choose to spend the extra money on them, then knock yourself out, but to criticize others for not seeing the advantages of spending more for the same result is a bit childish to me. It's not like I look at your car and laugh because you spent $100 on pink lugs on your $600 wheels.

XXR 527 17x8.25 +25 square set with stock tires and Eibach Sportline springs (Installed them yesterday, might settle/drop a bit more). Very happy with outcome except need a bit of camber upfront because wheel poke is no bueno. Ordering OEM camber bolts tomorrow.

Shout out to @JoeBoxer for being an awesome vendor!!
