I was || this close to picking up a used Miata NC for boosting. I've had a boosted NA and boosted NB before, but I justified the extra expense because gosh darnit, I'm worth it. No regrets. Now I've got to pay this thing off then worry about boost but it will be an enjoyable wait.

I was looking at E46 M3's for a while especially one in blue. I was also checking out an older Porsche Cayman for a while but ultimately went for the FR-S. My Texas Bank made it really difficult to buy a car not Texas so I had a limited selection. The BMW and Porsche are fast but the FR-S totally beats them in the fun to drive category!

I was contemplating buying a used 2008 Infiniti G37 Sport with 60k on the clock.
Beautiful car. But I wanted to sleep well at night knowing that I'm putting my own miles on a brand new car. |

I was looking at S2000's and 370Z's
One test drive and I was hooked on the FRS. Very happy with my decision. |

I didn't have a second choice, I didn't need a new car but after driving the FR-S, I got a new car. Irresistible.

Was seriously considering an PRHT NC Miata or an E46 M3.
But after buying this car, I am sold on the handling, design and the features. Best of all, the seating and wheel-gear stick-pedal positioning is spot on and well-done than many more expensive cars. |

I was looking at a lot of cars. Wasn't even just looking at sporty cars.
I fell in love with the new Kia Optimas SX. I thought they looked so sleek and came loaded. Also I really loved the small redesign features of the new mustangs. The genesis coupe was another huge contender I absolutely love the rear end of the new models, and I actually do not hate the front end (however, I do not love that you can confuse it with the veloster). Even the BRZ was up there as a top contender.. Main problem? I could NEVER find any of these models for a reasonable price. Every place I would go to each of these cars were over 30k. I was actually looking for months prior to the FRS/BRZ coming out and just was not successful. I even had the opportunity to get a BRZ a couple days before the June 1st release dates, however, it had a 2500$ mark up and was in the 31-32k range. The FRS was just so easy. I called the dealer twice, and they were like, oh you really want this car huh, well come in and fill some paperwork out. Go there, get MSRP, 1000$ off for grad discount, lowest APR, and a great trade in value for my TC at the time. Sometimes money talks, and I am so happy with that extra 100$+ in my pocket a month |

Drove 1.5 hours to a Porsche dealership to buy a 2008 Porsche Cayman S with <15k miles for $40k.
SOB's sold it before I got there otherwise I would be driving it right now. |

Ever since I heard about Subaru and Toyota making a love child RWD coupe I was intregued.
Had a BRZ on order after I went through all the numbers. Then I found an 08 Forester XT 5 speed at a scion dealer ship. when I went to check it out they had already sold it a week before but was still placing craiglists ads up. I told them I had a BRZ on order, they started drooling and tried to sell me a FRS that was already spoken for. Would have felt like a douche doing the deal and gave me a bad taste in my mouth for that dealer I test drove another FRS they had at the lot and fell in love with the twins. I am a suby fan boy so I waited for another couple months for my brz.

I was looking at getting another WRX or maybe looking into a new Challenger(loved them as a kid), until i actually test drove the challenger, cant say there is a single thing i actually like about the new one, the interior was the worst part. After seeing the challenger i went back and checked out the new WRX and BRZ and was sold on the BRZ, more so after the test drive.
