I picked up my white car, fully built, with a great built auto trans, for a sub 20k price. Keep in mind, mine has a salvage title but that just let me get the price even deeper down in the teens!
thanks man! ill try lol

Bahahhahahahaha, on Supraforums, people say this all the time and the MKIII guys get sooooo maaddd!!

But in all honesty, I believe all the Supras were real Supras. It's just that, as time progressed, they got better, just like all consumer products. The MKIVS happened to be the last of that progression. If they had a MKV, then maybe people wouldn't think the JZA80s weren't real Supras either.

I should be taking a deposit today actually on my 1997 Supra TT SEMA Roller. It is for sale on SupraForums too. I'll almost 100% be getting a FRS if they have a TRD Edition that has the JDM Push button Start and Center console. I have saved every magazine article about the FRS for over a year now.

I haven't been this excited for a car in a long time.

Funny thing is I have owned mk2s, mk3s, and mk4s. More then a dozen total. Ignorance does not irritate me and ihabe been on sf since 2001 so I have heard all the garbage. With the toybaru as cheap as it will I expect there will be plenty of chowderheads here too.

Was that the one with the Roll cage and that very interesting dark anthracite-ish paint? Or was that the one with drag radials with the photoshoot on the railroad tracks?

Either one was fricking sick, and I'm glad you're finally getting it sold (it's been a while!)

Nice to see some SupraForums buddies on FT86 Club. Hopefully we can bring our FRS/BRZs to Tx2k12!!

i am still debating what to do. My dream car is the Supra Im just really scared of the age and many miles. I want an mk4 manual, unmolested, i dont need a million hp. but it has to be TT. I want something less than a 100k miles. if it has 60k miles im ok with a 30k pricetag. if its around 80k than no more than 25k.

lol talk to Guff - he's had like 50 or something

Edit: turns out MightyAl as had about a dozen too

For that price, id get a s14 kouki and swap an RB25 or RB26 in. Have it cost like half that. Shoot, or swap a 2JZ in.

While I probably should sell the Supra to get an FT, I don't think I could bring myself to sell it! I've put far too much time and effort, along with a good amount of blood, sweat and tears...

Also, because mine is a UK Spec Supra - one of about 4 or 5 in total in New Zealand, It's going to be near impossible to find another one like it.

Sooo.... I think I'm just gonna have to keep it.... And buy an FT as well... Even if I have to wait a bit longer!

KBB of a clean 6spd in my year with 80k miles is $32k. So you will have to look at 93.5-96 cars to get into your price range. Check out SupraForums!

And in regards to the age and miles. Age of a Supra doesn't matter, all it means is the leather might be torn And you can guarantee reliability of a stock supra motor to 200k miles easy. I know it sounds ridiculous, but a stock 2JZ is one of those mystical creations that has powers that nobody can comprehend (Except the Japanese). As long as it wasn't beat on (Compression #s/Leakdown Test to make sure) then you should be good. I had a 94 6-spd TT Supra that was the previous owners track warrior and it had 254k miles when I bought it. Motor was perfect, only problem was one of the turbos wasn't spooling properly, so I went single. I picked that up for $15k!

You can probably pick up an APU car with ~120k miles for 25ish. But again, you have to wait until the perfect one hits the market.
