I'm one of the people that bought a new S2000 (but it only cost 31,150..). I wouldn't pay anywhere near that for this car (especially in base FR-S trim).

opinions are bad for business.

Its good business to tell people what they want..rather than listen to what people want.

That's a self defeating argument as to why people aren't allowed to have opinions

Dang you are really angry aren't you...
Is the styling really that bad though? I know the rear end is puke-worthy, but the rest is honestly really good. I think a lot of people hate the rear taillights, perhaps some company will make replacement taillights for this car. As for output, well everyone seems a bit disappointed by the motor for good reason, I think they will update it down the line, or other companies will join the fray and you'll have more options to choose from.

Thoughts for the disappointed

So a lot of people have felt they've been let down by the car and from what i saw it's all about the looks which isn't half bad actually. I was admit i was little disappointed too because i liked the aggressiveness of the second concept and also the first. But after seeing the special edition models, my disappointment disappeared. I'm pretty sure that people will make awesome body kits for this car (:

I think the car looks good for a Sub $30k car with good aerodynamics. Style is subjective, aerodynamics are not.

VP Jack Hollis said <$30k?

All three cars come with under <300HP like was rumored.

They are just messing with us now.

@ Dave, This whole thread was only 3 pages with the maximum posts per page.

Thumbs up

I like production version, better than the concept one in some aspects.
The concept car was very rare to be same as production one because several reasons such as cost, how hard to make part.
It's just a piece of art to lure people to look at them.
Perhaps sometime in future they could an make it done, but for now every reasonable people should go and happy with the current one.

i don't get how everyone says that the change of a headunit and hvac controls ruins the interior of the car. does everyone realize it's the same car on the inside. maybe i'm just not picky enough.

You know, when I looked at the scion tc interior online I thought it was horrible. Being in the car, I actually didn't mind it that much. You realize that when you're driving you don't even see the plastics. How often do you touch your dashboard? Do you really spend more time looking at your interior than you do focusing on that apex turn?
