Performance wise, it is the same car; the slight suspension difference, for the majority of people, is a trivial reason (unless you do auto-x or track driving a lot). The FRS is more 'bare bones' and the Subaru is more 'luxury equipped'. The nice thing about the FRS is that it has a little bit more wiggle room for interior customizing because it comes so 'bare bones'. Unfortunately the front of the BRZ is not as aesthetically pleasing compared to the FRS (in my opinion). Both twins are great cars nonetheless. I went with the FRS because in my area (San Jose, CA), BRZ's are marked up about $5-8k depending on which tier you choose, limited vs. premium. So, to me, it made no sense to pay that much more for the same car. And if I want to upgrade the amenities the FRS lacks, I can do so, but choose how I want to do it. |

Why not get an FRS, spend less money, so that you have the exterior covered? That way you can focus on interior modification/upgrades which will be less expensive and more extensive in options.

It shouldn't be that annoying or complicated. It is literally ONE sentence. 'Scion is Toyota'. If you would like to expand off of that. 'In America, Scion is Toyota's sub company, therefore it is basically Toyota and reasons are based off of marketing'. Did I mention it is a Toyota? GL
