No because the LSD is an option on the tC. They wouldn't have completely axed the LSD out of the "SPORTS" car for Scion and leave one as an option for the sporty car (tC). One way or another there would be a way to get the LSD. It just so happen they all come with LSD anyway and there is none being offered without an LSD.

There is no trim level, so there isn't like 350z Base vs 350z Touring/Enthusiast. It's all one model and that model comes with an LSD.

And why do I need to go aftermarket? Simple...Aftermarket > Factory. You are not paying for Factory components and getting the same performance that you would from the aftermarket. Factory options and components are not as aggressive and in a general way....watered down when you compare it to the Aftermarket. Not to mention Aftermarket is cheaper.

Example:

TRD supercharger for the tC was around $4k installed from Toyota. Got you 200whp.

Aftermarket turbo setups for tC were same price and you got 300+whp.

You can't beat Aftermarket in the $-to-performance category.

A navi head unit from the dealer EASY $2k. Do you know what you can build for $2k in terms of a car computer by simply getting the stuff yourself in the Aftermarket? You could build something WAY more potent than that touch screen from the factory.

I'm a bit skeptical of the "silver" tach. Can someone confirm this is really silver? Below is the GT86 and FR-S gauge photos for comparison.

FR-S:

They look the same to me, just the lighting in the photograph.

The Scion tach must be silver, otherwise the white lettering would not be visible. Note that the GT86 tach lettering is black.

I kind of doubt that in Japanese culture a woman would unveil a car (don't hate, I'm just stating facts), they are only there as eye candy.

BTW, i figured out the way to get the 86 version that I want. It's time to move to Japan

Unfortunately I don't have any substantial photos that prove this on the 86 because there isn't one I've seen.

Yes, it's on the GT5. They said, this DLC will come really soon (didn't say the exact date)
