Well, if a Florida trip needs to be planned i'll have to get a week off from work. I'm thinking we try for July or so to get this rolling. We can try getting ahold of some of the vendors in the Southeast section to see if their interested in sponsoring it and setting up some tents for vending and what not. Thoughts??

I like it. Atlanta is good but Florida I wouldn't mind. Just because of the beaches. However, maybe a weekend we could all meet in a and drive to Florida? Idk I think it's be pretty cool

Hmm, a state traveling convoy of 86ers? Sounds pretty beastly to me man. Get some more interest on this and i'll talk to some of the vendors on here and see if they might be interested in sponsoring the event.

That would be epic! 77 and 26 run straight through Columbia so I could meet everyone north of me then get to the 95 and meet everyone else. Go through Savannah and pic them up and keep rolling. FL is deff a drive for most but I think it may be a very good location. Rev Works and a couple other companies are down there and a beach on both sides. Could do a sun rise photoshoot on the beach and a sunset photoshoot on the other beach in the same day lol

With that being said I'll start trying to put this together. Probably looking around July or August. Weekend event I'm guessing with shows and contests sound good?

Just so everyone is up to speed. Myself and @Sportsguy83 will be putting this meet together and hosting it. We are currently contacting vendors about sponsoring and hosting. With that being said the date is still undetermined. When we get a better idea of how many people will be attending we shall post more details.

Back in 2000-2001 my dad was in the SCMC (SVT Cobra Mustang Club) The way they did it was they would schedule the meet around a trackday. Everyone from all over this half of the country and Canada would meet on Friday at a designated hotel. We would all eat and greet then have a meeting down stairs where we would talk about the weekends schedule and hand out miscilanious prizes. Such as, prize for whoever brought the most cars, or friends and family, or who travelled the longest to get there. Then bright and early Saturday morning we would all meet for breakfast and head to the track for a trackday. After that day is complete we would all meet for dinner and hanging out, drinking etc. On Sunday we had the option to go back to the track or go to the local sponsoring dealership for an all day carshow. After the car show awards where handed out those who hadn't already left would go on back home. I remember them being very fun and relaxed and I loved the sound of 20+ Cobras goin down the road. It was also nice BC it became so popular that we would do this quarterly and Ford would actually bring out concept cars and prototypes to the track. We where one of the first public group of people to see the 03 Cobra up at Gingerman Raceway in Michigan. Well, just food for thought.
