You should enter TTD... We could use the extra competition (for the Hoosier contingency to kick in!)
Well packed up. I don't have a TT license yet, been too busy in the last 2 years working for NASA and building racing simulators for Simcraft to get myself in full track mode. Wife thinks I should pay off the frs first in 2 years, before entering it in any timed competition. Picked up a miata last week that i'll be using for my TT license and comp school by the end of the year. I have never driven above 80% on track because I'm always in a dd. The miata will be the disposable car until I get some on track experience, but the frs will occasionally go out in whichever session I get a break to go out in. See you on Saturday.

Just for the record... You've obliterated the TTD record at Roebling Road this morning. Timing guys just came up to control to ask me about it. Haha!

Woohoo! My in-car timing showed a 1:21.36, but I want to see the official time. Car felt really good!

For those wondering about wheels and tires:

I run 17x8 Enkei RPF1s with 225/40/17 Hoosier A6s. This is for time trial competition. I have also tracked the car with great success on 245/40/17 Michelin Pilot Super Sports - a very fast, predictable, long lasting tire. If you're looking for the best street tire that you can also track happily (and drive hard on), the PSS is the way to go. I wouldn't go bigger than 245, but a 225 would also be plenty of tire, IMO - assuming you're not making 300whp.

I'm probably gonna go chase some z cars at amp in may. Will be at vir in July with forged, fully expect Ron and Matt there also. No big plans, just ordered wheels... Of course now I see you changed to the gold rpf1 so I'm a copy cat now, lol. Need to stop screwing around and get licensed for TT tho.

Congrats on the RR record also.
