Edit - crap didn't notice "next" week. My bad! Still want to know about my previous question though - will we be PM'ing Joe for payment? I just don't want to get left behind on this as I know only a set of 10 were being considered, and based on the responses to this thread, I think that we'll go through that easily.
You were one of the first to be interested so no worries of being left out. Please pm Joe for payment details when the time comes. Thanks for being patient guys.

Ok Ive spents months narrowing down the wheels that would go on my brz and I think the tc105 18x8.5 gun version square setup.

Now Im interested in filling that gap in the bore. I have read that caps and hub rings cant work, and Im wondering why cant a measurement be taken from the inside diamater of the weds cap and thus adjust the size of the hub ring accordingly...everything if fitting should all be bolted down and in place so it should be secure right? What is the reason they say the two cannot coexist.

And second if not possible to make them work together...id like to get in on these hub/cap hybrids.
Any more photos of what the actual product would look like?

I guess id want the black anodized, can i get a quote and timeline.
And of course payment method....

They don't coexist because the rings take up all the space in that gap. The only way it would work is if Weds did the same thing that kask did - extend the ring into a cap.

Pretty much what foobar said. Many wheels have a second lip in the bore of the wheel that could hold a center cap in front of the hub centric ring. The second face is so small on this wheel that it wouldn't do a very good job of holding a cap even if one was made to fit. Because of this, caps like the weds ones are held by the taper on the back face of the wheel where a hub centric ring would also go.

Those are the only photos I have at the moment. That part is identical to the actual product besides color. The price will be around $130 shipped and I'm hoping to get the parts back from the machine shop by the end of the week.

I could weigh one tomorrow but they are pretty light. The ring is a pretty snug fit and you will not feel any difference when driving.
