what type of modifications need to be made to the car to pass tech?

I have heard in some places some things need to be safety wired and radiator fluid needs to be swapped to water wetter.

Not for this event, this is for street cars, we will get a tech form setup shortly, but it will be similar to what other HPDE organizations require (NASA, SCCA, HOD, etc)

The main tech items will be brake pad life, tire condition, bearings, nothing loose in cabin, belts in good shape, battery tie downs, etc.

If we don't have enough people signed up by 2 weeks before the event, we will have to cancel it, although I do not see this being the case.

Right now we have about 5 folks registered but we have only had reg open for a small time. Spread the word and make sure folks signup.

We won't likely have any helmets for rent but the requirement is only a Snell M2005 closed face or SA2005 helmet. If you have a friend with a motorcycle then you should be able to borrow one from them.

Man, I don't have anywhere near me as far as I can tell via google research to buy a damned SA2010 helmet or SA2005 for that matter.

I wanna sign up for this, plan to next week, but I may have to order a helmet online. I'd much rather be able to try it on to ensure proper fit.

M2005 is the minimum requirement. See if you can borrow a friends motorcycle helmet.
