After meeting Steve from Esoteric Performance at the meet I may get Borla exhaust and headers. But I need to find out if that will void my warranty or not and what that will do for my emissions testing. I want to be multistate legal.

So from what I understand I can only do the catback and only half the dealers will service me, plus it should still be emissions legal, I can live with that.

My understanding of coverage and warranty is that you can do whatever you want to the car. If something breaks and it is COMPLETELY UNRELATED (WITHOUT AN OUNCE OF A DOUBT) to the modifications then they'll cover it. My first FR-S had condensation and chirping. They said chirping was the lightweight pulleys fault (could be, couldn't be - whatever) and the light obviously had nothing to do with it... So they had to replace it.

It would not matter, the guy in Australia quit making them.

Test drove some higher HP cars in the BRZ price range and while none where better, all left me wanting more HP in my BRZ. I suspect the only other car I'll like in this 25K range is the 2013 Si which I have yet to drive. Seems I'm either going to supercharge the BRZ or save for a BRZ-Like step up, like a new Porsche, or the 2014 Corvette.
