Just contacted oem audio. They did confirm summer. For those already with the +400 system they will just need to pay the difference of the upgrade, no hidden fees.

I'm installing my new 400+ tomorrow. I'm hoping it's perfect for me. I'd already upgraded the door speakers to Image Dynamic and that helped clear things up a lot, but the front soundstage and tweeter are just not there, so hopefully the 400+ will make the difference. I'll post a review next week, if not sooner.

They will be debuting the system at Toyotafest. As for actual on sale date nothing confirmed yet. Just summer.

It was great meeting you tonight at the pavs, and the system sounded amazing! The lows were very crisp and the sound clarity was outstanding! Thanks for the demo.

I have already sound deadened the trunk area, the rear fenders, the roof and a bit of the rear seats in preperation for this system. I will do some more maybe the floors and further coverage of the rear area during the install.

I will probably wait for the updated reference series version though.

This is a really nice looking system and thanks for posting your review. My only concern/question is how easy is it to get access to the spare wheel/jack with the trunk carpet being tucked under the box? It seems like you would have to bend the carpet to do this and it would be quite awkward/damaging. Is this a problem for you?

Thanks, Ill try it tomorrow but they say access is not an issue. The box is attached to the wall and should not be resting on the floor mat. The hard cardboard under the carpet folds on each side to get it out of the trunk.

It sound sooo clean. The highs are so pure. And I'm very impressed on the amount of bass the sub puts out. It for sure sounds better than I expected. Great job on the set up!
