Yeah, supercars are cool and all, but I'm kind of excited by the fact that car makers are starting to make affordable electric cars now. I'm curious to see who's gonna rule the market.

Yeah for sure, I just wish the battery technology was advancing faster than it is.

Here's a few interesting articles. We're getting there technology wise, slowly but surely...

Hmm yeah, we still have a ways to go but we're getting there. Funny, I didn't even know that about the BMW electric cars. I've seen a few on the road and didn't even realize you can't buy one. I was wondering, cause they all have that ridiculous paint job with the circuitry graphics.

Anyone know what's up with these? Range tests? Are they coming out soon?

I believe they are special edition cars that Fiat is trying out. Funny enough, ive read somehwere that they can only be leased here in California. Im guessing the Michigan plates are because of Chrystler(which Fiar owns now) thats based out of Detroit.

Those look like the Rota RT5, which are badass , and they come in black. Wheeldude has a few shots of them on their car. Probably just as heavy, too.

I'm sure I can score removing something else to compensate the weight gain.

Niiiiice! LOL reminds me of these 15" wheels I found at Pep Boys one time for $50 each... I bought 2 (that was all the store had) and later found another pair at another store. Put them bishes on my MR2 and went to the track!
(you have to understand, the MR2 had 14x6" wheels standard so even a heavier 15x7 wheel was a plus because I could put wider tires with better grip on.)

I mean for 17x8 21.8 lbs is no racing wheel, but not that terrible. I mean they're on par with the stock 17x7s and you get width for bigger tires.

But damn, why are the 18s of the sparcos only $50 each? I guess cause they only have 2 in stock lol.
