Turning 30 this year, so maybe I'm a bit "young" to join the conversation, but in my opinion, you're never too old to have fun, and if you have fun in the FR-S go out and buy one. I never bought into cars being for specific age groups. Usually that's just based on pricing, anyway.

49 when I got mine. I got because I liked it. I never really cared what anyone else thinks about my cars, they're not paying for them, I am, so I get what makes me happy. My FRS made me happy the first time I test drove, and still makes me happy every time I get in it now. When that stops happening, it will be time to get something else, but honestly I think that's a long time off!

I am a driver, I always have been and I hope that I always will be. The 86 is just another fantastic chapter in my driving experience that rewards me every time I drive it.

I got rid of a 350Z to get my MR-S and then got hooked on the FR-S and followed its development. I had every intention of getting one but decided that it would cost me a fortune on top of the price of the car to get it to where my MR-S is now. Despite the fact that I still love and admire the car I decided to pass.

The twins will appeal to car enthusiast both young and old. I usually see really young guys driving them or guys that have, like me, raised their familieas and now have the time and money to start enjoying the wonders of a great sports car again. Age be damned!

By the way, don't blink. You will be my age before you realize it.

You're only as old as you feel- drive what you want!
I'm female, I'm on the heavy side (no overflowing seat, but thicker), and 35 years old. I work hard for what I have, and if anyone wants to dog me for it, that's their problem.
Haters gonna hate and all that jazz, you know?

unless your a brand snob and refuse the car due to its Scion brand.

Porsches and all those expensive sports cars are for successful people with lots of money, thats why they're typically driven by old people.

The twins are for people with moderate money, so you dont actually have to have a fortune to buy one.

you can never be too old to have fun.

If you were to go sedan just go get a sports sedan. You'd have just as much fun and more space for the practical reasons.

hahaha, I was saying this is only 25 grand car.

If you can afford to maintain a 20 years old Ferrari then you should do it.

From your avatar I think you have a 348?
Can you share the maintenance cost?
I am still dreaming to own a 355.

Enjoy your FR-S, its a great car and has nothing to apologize for, but drink a bit less of the kool-aid, okay?
There are many intangible aspects to driving a P car that others can't understand or comprehend until you own one for some time.. It's not all about performance numbers or specs.. While many of the younger crowd won't "get it", some of us who owned more exotic hardware know what you are saying and agree..
Also.. Some of the most expensive cars I owned... We're cheaper in the long run because they hold their resale value making it less costly than a car costing half as much new... Good post ..
