ddmtuning.com u can get an hid kit 9006 35w for $29.95 on sale (reg price is $45) plus shipping.
from my last order it did take a bit to get in the mail but i ordered 2 sets just in case because of the mail time lag in case of a bulb burn out. as i believe they are shipped from china.. but you cant beat the price and they are simple plug n play. you may just need a couple of zipties

but at this point i installed my current set of hids 5k in the low beams june 2012 when i got my fr-s and havent had a bulb burn out yet (almost 1 year)

only negative thing.. is that occasionally like once a week or maybe every other week when i turn on my headlights the drivers side bulb ignites and then goes out and i have to switch them off then back on and its fine. so whenever i turn on my headlights i usually make sure im parked in front of something that i can see the light reflection so i can tell they both go on. its a little annoying but ive gotten used to it lol maybe i got a bad ballast as the other one works fine??

i guess thats what u get when its a cheap set.. but besides that they are perfect. no flickering...nice bright oem hid look. and super easy to install.

35 watt is perfectly fine... 55w might wash the color out... and its not necessary to go overboard with the wattage.

Alright thanks so much! I was looking at this because of the price. And I hear a lot of people were having an issue with the flickering light due to a bad ballast.

You will find some cheap, but you'll get what you pay for.

^this...

Seriously, please do it right. I've seen so many people not bother to do a proper setup and they either melt harnesses and housings or just blind and annoy traffic around them...

Exactly. Pay some good money to do it right the first time.

buy a Volts kit through kbcarstuff.com. Expect to pay around 100 bucks when they are on sale. I've been through a ton of cheap HID kits and these are by far the best. go with 35 watts so you don't melt any parts of your headlight housing and to cut back on glare. go with 4300-5000k if you want a pure white/ stock look

Kits are kits are kits. Retrofitting using OEM components is the only way to do it right.
