Definitely not a petrolhead. The fact that my car was driven when they did the PDI still annoys me.

Hi gents

There has been a blue BRZ driving around KZN (from Kloof) for a few months now..Actually drove behind the lady today on my way to work..Must say i love that rear boot spoiler..

those have been the demos.. the cape town demo one has 12 000 on the clock and i think they only arrived in the country end of september so they've been around the country quite a bit

Correct, they've brought 9 in if I'm not mistaken so each dealer around the country should have one.

This batch is 50 BRZ's

All previous ones have been for dealers, I've been told. This batch is for remaining dealers and CUSTOMERS!

I'm getting a silver.

The blue one in CT is one of the early demo's as used in Car test etc (the dealer principle there is a real enthusiast - I popped in on a business trip a week or so ago and he spent an hour chatting).

The SA Subaru website now has some interesting videos and things on one site which you normally have to spend a while finding

As for sound, I'm getting an Alpine W920R deck with iPod control, bluetooth etc, an Alpine PMX-F640 amp to drive Alpine SPG-17CS and SPG 17C2 speakers, an active 8" subwoofer (and a rear camera - visibility doesn't seem to great and wasn't much extra). For bling, I'm adding chrome fender trim.

Hope I don't feel the need for MORE POWA

Got the same deck, it's awesome! The only issue that I have with it is that it doesn't fit as nicely as the Kenwoods do, since it requires spacers on each side. You get over it though.

The maps are superb and the level of customization that you can do wrt setting up the sound is mind boggling. Don't forget to set the MediaXpander level in the sound settings, you'll get a great bass boost to the standard speakers.

I'm in CT on business now, and thought I'd catch up.
