Hah yes. I basically gave up washing mine for the time being

Just curious, how often do you guys give you ride a bath?

It's honestly been a couple months since I washed mine. All the rain & cold kept me from doing it until this month and now the pollen and crap recently has prevented me from spending any time outside. I'll probably just hose it off at the end of the week if it doesn't rain good enough. If it does rain, I'll just pull it out of the garage into the driveway and let nature wash the pollen off

Since mine is a daily commuter I usually do it on an "as needed" basis, which ends up being about every three weeks or so depending on the weather. I have an old-school brushless and self-service car wash not too for from me so sometimes I'll run through and give it a quick 5 minute spray down in-between.

This time of year though I know a losing battle when I see one.

Every other week for me. Either I give it to the guy here at my office in midtown, or I take it to the quick $5 place close to my current house.

Every time I give it to the guy at work, he puts a fresh coat of wax on.

I've yet to encounter anyone when I'm actually driving my BRZ. I saw an Asphalt FR-S traveling perpendicular to me on Pleasant Hill RD last Wednesday, but it was too dark to tell if the driver noticed me. I'm typically found anywhere between exits 104 to 120 on I-85 and adjacent local roads...

Up until yesterday, I hadn't washed my car at all; the only wash it received was in preparation for Opti-Coat. Rain had always been timely enough to keep it from looking dirty. Yesterday, though, my car was just smothered in pollen. You could visibly see it flying off as I drove away. My office is essentially in a hole surrounded by trees... I ended up getting annoyed, so I stopped by a self-service place down the street to rinse it off after work. I'll probably do this frequently until the pollen-fest stops, and then I'll give it a proper wash.

You guys seem way more alive here then over here in SC. I spent some child hood years in Snellville and mountain park area. Looks like I might have to make the trek to you guys if I wanna do any meets. Are y'all planning on going to Import Alliance?

Ok so I'm still waiting for my order to show up, but in the meantime I'm wondering about getting a clear bra put on this thing when it shows up. Where in the Atlanta area should I have one installed and how much does it usually run?

It may make sense to check out how it looks on the car at a dealership first. When we were shopping for the ride, both my wife and I commented on it being pretty visible.

Personally I haven't had trouble with rock chips in Atlanta; nothing like WA/OR where roads are sanded and graveled often during Wintertime anyway. So I opted to pass...

I may regret this now that I typed this out though *knock on wood*
