Just curious, does it seem a little odd that you only gain 17 peak HP when you step the boost up from 6 psi to 9 psi?

Not really. He probably had to pull a bunch of timing out to keep detonation at bay.

Two years ago we had a CT20B MR2 with a high compression stroker we were tuning. I got really excited when we made 270whp at 10psi..but by 17 psi we had to pull so much timing out that it only made 310whp.
