Research Panel in Santa Fe Springs?

Anyone get a phone call about a research panel to talk about the BRZ/FRS on April 17,18 or 19?

I went to something like this once, some kind of market research. I enjoyed it, an hour or two talking about cars. Turned out everyone invited had bought a Camry. Before the end we'd figured out the event had been commissioned by Honda.

Speak for yourself! Love my N/A.

Wouldn't be surprised if it's Chevy or Nissan based on the above, rumors are that they're developing competitors to the ToyoBaru, a "code 130r" and "mini z".

Sweet, that sounds like it could be fun! Tell them we want to be able to purchase STi accessories here so we can personalize our cars like they do in Japan! MOAR accessories!!!

Also, tell them the floor mats in the BRZ look like a weird afterthought. The silver trim matches nothing. In other countries they get nice black ones, and we should, too.

Pft. It's not like you won't be able to buy a NA version. It's called options.

Eh I wouldn't worry about what internet people say, if the internet held any actual buying power we'd still have Utes and wagons instead of cross overs and suv's.

Tell 'em what you like, what you didn't and hopefully in about 5 years we'll have an actual choice to make when cross shopping the Toyobaru.

Some of the main things Im going to bring up personally is the lack of an armrest for starters and also the power. I know the power issue has been beaten to death but Im going to suggest nothing crazy but just maybe 250-300hp stock would be nice for the future. Oh also something should be done about the back seats lol

Not sure about 300 stock for this car - then you have to change the grip and other stuff to balance it out. 220/230 feels like the right number for next generations, which should be easier to attain with engine tweaks and tunes. If they could fix the HP dip between 3,000 and 5,000 that would help. And and fix the chirping for us forced to use e10 gas!

If you want more HP, that's where aftermarket parts and tuning come in right?

Just my $.02
