The BRZ weathertech mats are awesome - I have them for my outback as well (which is why i bought them for the BRZ). i had the subaru all-weather mats in the outback but they don't provide the coverage that the weathertech digital fit floor liners do.

sure, i'd like the dead pedal completely covered, but it's not a biggie for me.

if weathertech makes a digital fit liner to replace the tiny rear mats in the BRZ, i'd buy that as well.

the subaru BRZ trunk liner is great though, i bought it because it was less expensive than the weathertech, and i'm completely satisfied with it.

I'd gladly pay $100 to not have to clean & scrub dirt/stains out of the front carpet/mats in the future. Mine's have saved me twice already from that.

I am not sure why I waited so long. I am all for protecting the car in and out.

I also think the stock mats look cheap...Weathertech needs to make some mats for the rear...

Perhaps Weathertech assumes that no one fits in the brz/frs backseats

Yeah, that's probably it....I never get back there either...but it would be nice if it was weathertech back there on the floor.

Plus most people sitting back there would have their feet up on the seat cushion anyway.. since the front seats are literally touching the back seats when I drive (with my seat adjusted to a 'comfortable' position).

Yes, fits snug and is the same material as their mats. The little fabric loop on the OEM spare cover is long enough to thread up over the lip of the mat so you can lift the mat and cover to get to the tools/spare without removing the mat.

Awesome I got a friend with a FR-S who really wants the weathertech trunk mat. I might get it too. But I was thinking of getting the Cusco rear strut bar. Anybody got the rear Cusco strut bar with the Weathertech trunk mat? I will probably just have to cut some slits in it, but I really don't want to cut into a weathertech trunk mat....LOL

I think there is a thread somewhere with a guy that did this. I cant remember where it is but maybe the terrible search function will actually do something good if you give it a try.

I found it! Not quite weathertech. But, you might want to ask the guy how much space is between the rear strut and his trunk liner.
