how is this car NOT underpowered to you? are you telling me you're alright with a 200hp car a stock camry could probably outrun? I for one, could forgive the lack of power, since I want this for my little brother's first car, but the damn tail lights are amazingly ugly.

Here's the link to the IRC channel for FT86 Club. We can chat on here so we don't destroy the sites servers with frantic posting, and we can leave some bandwidth for those posting pictures.

Personally, i'm interested in this car because of a few points and Ae86 has nothing to do with my choice i would say.
Looks cool 200 HP without turbo out of a 2 liter engine is quite unbelievable Rear wheel drive Toyota sport car Flat engine Weight So, under 32k full equip, tax and delivery included... it's mine! |

Why are there people b**ching about power (forest gump voice) 'ehhhh if it can't outrun this thing then what's the point.... all I'm interested in is going in a straight line because it doesn't take as much skill. duuuuhhhhh'
Who cares, buy something else! correct me if I'm wrong but I believe drifting and taking turns tight and fast is a lot more fun then getting to the next light as fast as you can.. *END OF RANT*

I'm sick of you fan-boys who are too scared to criticize the car because of what it's "supposed" to stand for. 200 hp is not fast, PERIOD. I can appreciate those who are honest and at least say, the car's purpose is handling / driving enjoyment... which I do appreciate. @Torquesteered 197hp isn't underpowered? okay... Yes the world is full of "turns" but even a camry can hug the road just fine at the speed limit, so your point is kinda moot. I'm talking about daily driving mostly when I say, what can you do to "enjoy" that great handling... not much. But that's my opinion. |
