If you want to autox, I suggest staying stock for a while, so the best mod is good tires. Right now I am a fan of Hankook RS-3, but the BF Goodrich rival also looks good. At first, I bought race wheels (light) and tires. After that, I suggest konis front and rear and a front sway bar. Take instruction whenever possible. Oh, and satin black is my new favorite color. Next time I get a chance to go back to LM, the lower scoop on the front bumper is getting redone, the fender inserts are getting redone in satin black, the door jams are getting done in satin black, and the trunk cross piece (where the scion logo mounts) is getting redone in satin black. Also doing the "mascara" lines under the headlights in satin black. The black really makes the yellow look that much brighter. Technically my wrap is not 100% done, but Eric had been job-ing on the car since 6am and we were both exhausted so we planned to put the finishing touches on it the next time I can make the drive up to LM. It looks amazing though, and I love the work.
BTW, Eric DID say he'd love to do full wraps on other FRS's, it'll just cost whoever wants to do it about $2400 for most vinyl colors and labor (carbon and brushed vinyls are more money) and he can usually get the whole car done in one long day. If you decide to have him wrap stuff, just let him know I sent you. I'll post more pictures on mine in the morning once I finally see it in the sunlight. |
