I have to make a comment about dual climate control. My wife has that in her car and as far as I'm concerned it's nothing more than a gimmick. I know it sounds like a neat feature to someone who has never had it but once you have it, it's more bother than it's worth. Unless you have a clear glass partition running down the center of you cabin dividing the passenger from the driver it's a joke. You end up fussing more with the controls trying to balance things out than you would if you had the base controls that are standard in the FR-S. You just can not have two different "climate zones" in the interior space of a car.

I'd prefer it more for the auto control than the dual part. Setting a certain temp then letting it auto get there. The dual part though can be useful sometimes depending on the weather. Some might want more air blowing on them than the other side. Closing vents just cuts the air off, not the same thing. Not a big thing for me, but there have been times when I had it that we used it.

And push to start isn't just a gimmick, it's the one thing I badly wanted to add to the FR-S. Having the key never leave your pocket is incredibly convenient. That's like saying windows that auto/roll up down with a button push are a gimmick compared to the ones that roll up with a handle manually. It's added convenience that is sorely missed when you don't have it and you're used to it.

Not having to use a key is awesome.

Dual-climate is awesome and actually works. My passengers tend to want the temp to be the exact opposite of my preference. The vents can be directed towards either individual and there's really no fussing with the controls in my 6 months experience with my BRZ Limited. *shrug*

Exactly. It's just one of those things that don't matter much if you've never had them before but once you get used to them, it's hard to go back. Like high speed internet. Sure, no one NEEDS instant loading of webpages, but no one wants to go back to dial-up.

I've been so sure that I wanted the FR-S all this time, but lately I've been swaying more towards the BRZ more and more because of all the nice features.

Ya I got used to everything with my truck. So trying to figure out if it would be cheaper to just get a 10 series or buy everything I would want. Thinking it would almost be cheaper to get the 10. Won't know till I see the prices of everything.

10 Series is a good option, unless you don't like the colour. I know I don't, but a lot of people do love it. If I wanted all those features from the 10 series, I would probably just end up going for a BRZ Limited, because I just love WRB. If they offered the 10 series in a WRB type colour, or even a variant of the Ultramarine, I'd have one pre-ordered by now.

Is it the same color as the argento or is it a little different? Cause it looks amazing in this picture

Different than the Argento, it's more of a blue silver pearl type color.

It does look a bit like the Azure Pearl from the 1st-Gen tC but much much better. Not as baby blue'ish and I'm sure the paint quality is far superior.

I love the color in the pics need to see it in person though to be sure. Just need to know the price of the 10, and the price of the options if I was going to add it onto my raven frs. That will be the deciding factor I guess u can say.

I'm waiting until these options come to the standard FR-S model (non- 10 Series) which they will soon enough. The color is ok, but I wouldn't want it. Whiteout or nothing for me.

@remorse87, the RS prices, at least the way the rest of them have been prior to the FR-S, are always a couple thousand or so above standard.

That's what I was figuring if not more than that. Since the gt86 headlights are like 1000 a piece. So I'm thinking it would be cheaper over all even with the lose I will take on the car.

Even if it was cheaper to add those things to a base FR-S, in some ways it might just be better to get a car that already comes with those features, especially things like the push button start.
Sure, you can buy an aftermarket smart key system, but it just wouldn't "fit" as well as one that was designed and implemented into the car right from the start.
Nothing wrong with buying aftermarket systems, it's just not my cup of tea.
