When will new OEM floor mats be available?

Title pretty much says it all. Does anybody with insider info know when we will be able to purchase OEM floor mats for the FR-S? Mine are toast, as I know many others' are as well. Car show season is ramping up and I needs me some new mats ASAP!

how'd you kill them so fast? i'm actually curious as to the activities that are taking place on your OEM floor mats that would require you to replace them after less than 1 year~

OEM floor mats are terrible. They look worn in 5k miles.

It might be that some people are wearing hard heeled shoes. My car has close to 8,000 and the mats are like new. I wear very soft soled shoes with rounded heels when I drive.

I have 1600 miles and heel place for clutch pedal is already wearing out. Since I wear dress shoes for work, it has some damn hard heel. I should get some velcro rubber piece or something.

Even Vans will wear out a thick RSX floormat. There is nothing you can do except accept the fact that you'll need a replacement set eventually. I know I do for the aforementioned vehicle.

For the astute, there is a bonus learning opportunity in the above text

Yeah, I went to walmart and got cheap rubber mats. cut a piece up and velcroed it over the wear spots. Dress shoes eat these things

I know that a number of UK members have had trouble with their floor mats and have them replaced under warranty.

I have a rubber mat that just goes over the OEM GT86 mats. Obviously mine are still pristine as a result.

I got Weathertech mats. I'd suggest the same, then at shows you can change back to the stock mats.
