Just detailed my frs for the first time since I got her in early March. Weather has been cold and typical crappy Wisconsin spring.

I'm sure everyone will have their favorite detailing products, but I wanted to pass along that 303 Speed Detailer is fantastic! After a good wash I applied 303 with some microfiber towels and it brought out the UltraMarine for sure! You can use it on paint, glass, plastic, rubber, etc. I used a MF that I sprayed with 303 and then a dry MF that I used to buff out the excess. Results were better than I imagined. I tried their 32oz spray bottle for the Speed Detailer, but they sell it by the gallon at a reasonable price and I will be going that direction now that I know I like the results.

Their 303 Protectanct works very nice as well. I bought it as a wipe; very convenient. Gives great shine, without that typical 'greasy' feeling with other products I've used. Used it on all the interior pieces and dash/doors.

Anyone else use 303 Products before?

Made the mistake of putting a lot of the 303 protectant on faded plastics on a truck. It was really super faded so I figured I would let it soak in before buffing it off with a towel. Woke up next morning to see 303 running down the truck everywhere. Use 303 on ur car/truck when its new cause once the black textured plastics r faded past a certain point, there really is no saving it

I use 303. Decent stuff. Not magic, but leaves very little residue, smell or shine.

This is good for faded dark plastics:

If that fails, a heat gun is a good last resort. I've used one with much success.

I'm a big fan of 303 aerospace protectant. Never used the speed detailer, but I love 303 aero. Great shine & UV protection without the slick greasy feeling. Its what I use for my new car preps on the interior along with the 303 fabric guard

Note: I only use 303 aero on interiors. For exterior trim, 303 WILL run down the paint in the rain (even if you buff the excess). Most trim dressing products behave like this as I've tested a number of them.

For exterior trim now I only use Ultima Trim & Tire Guard. Its pricey but I put a couple ounces in a small spray bottle and it lasts a long time (apply with a foam applicator). This stuff looks great, lasts a long time, and actually beads water instead of running down the paint

Mother's back to black is good for restoring faded plastic too.

I used that before but switched to the Turtle wax product at some point. It worked better for me.
