Excise tax is supposed to be a tax to use the roads in MA. Have you seen the roads here? They should be paying US!

It's a joke in middleboro. Leaving my girlfriends house it takes me over 10 mins to drive down 1 mile road. Dirt road with holes everywhere, some are over a foot deep. Should be paved. Then you drive down to tarmac and its just as bad. State is a joke.

Lol, I hate it when I run into dirt roads like that. When I drive away after picking someone up on their shitty road they'll begin to tell me how to drive on it because I'm such a city slick apparently.

yup! very large "black hole!"

So after installing camber bolts in the front..me being in a rush like usual putting my wheels back on cross threaded one of my lug studs :|. Right before autocross this weekend. I'm bringing it to the dealer tomorrow for a free alignment but they want $100 for the stud replacement.

Lesson learned.

My daily driver has such crappy suspension, when I hit potholes or bumps it's terrifying.

I'm wondering if the dealer could be the cause. What would be powerful enough to strip a steel stud? I was only using a semi weak electric impact. I'm just curious because I think it was already cross threaded before and I didn't notice it. I had a very hard time taking it off when I switched off my winter tires and the bolts were torqued so high.

I can't say what happened in your case, yes it may have been. But I personally have done it changing flats on side of highway. Not to BRZ but to a 78 280Z, and a rental base charger. I do get pissed when I get a flat so may be an anger issue on my part!!!!!

Wouldn't be surprised if it was the dealer. most dealers and tire shops seem to be too lazy and just use the guns to put the wheels back on. I had similar issues when I was putting my new wheels one. Thankfully had access to a gun, and it still too a good bit to get them off.

Sadly its not even difficult to replace but I'm strapped for time at this point
