Carol and Sophia are at the camp when Rick arrives from Atlanta. Her husband, Ed, who Shane beats up in the show, is never shown in the comic. When they get to the prison, Carol falls in love with Tyrese. Tyrese then has an affair with Michonne which causes Carol to go crazy. She hits on Lori, gets rebuked, and eventually kills herself by basically hugging a zombie due to being lonely.

Andrea never even meets the Gov in the comic, nether does Maggie. Rick, Michonne, and Glenn see the coptor go down, then follow the tire tracks to Woodbury. within minutes of introducing himslef, the Gov amutates Rick's hand and ties up Michonne. After torturing and raping her for days, she eventually escapes, retrieves her katana, plucks out his eye, cuts off his arm, castrates him, then leaves him to die. He doesn't. After being saved by the good doctor, he leads the people of Woodbury to the prison to kill all the "bad people" there.

During the battle, one of the Woodbury girls shoots Lori in the back as she's running away with the baby, they are both killed instantly. Maggie doesn't cut the baby out, Carl doesn't tag her in the head, and a fat lazy zombie doesn't alledgedly consume her remains. Horrified by what they had done, and seeing they were tricked into attacking the prison, the people of Woodbury turn on the Gov. and shoot him in the head. At this point the prison is so overrun by the undead, Rick, Michonne, Andrea, Carl, Dale (still alive), Sophia (still alive), Maggie, and Glenn escape the area where they spend the next few months on the road.

Hershel is also killed at the prison. Hershel has two legs, as well. It was Dale in the comic who lost a leg by getting bitten. Later, while seeking shelter in a cabin, a group of canibals kidnap Dale and eat his other leg. His lover, Andrea, finds him, and with the help of Rick, Michonne, and their new badass friend Abraham, make the group of cannibals very, very sorry they decided to dine on one of their own...

That finale was butt >=(. Definitely could have been better.

Still have not watched The Walking Dead. I will though at some point. I've only played the story game based off the comic if that counts, which was pretty good.

Anyway I'm going to drop this here.

Just started watching. I've only seen the first 2 episodes and its not bad either. Now I regret not watching when it first premiered.
