Didn't do it for mine. The light came on after I went for a +35 km tour. My fix is a little black round sticker over the light. Can't see anything. No more issue. LOL

I opted for 17s too. an 18 inch wheel that is lighter than stock might not be better for performance as there is more mass around the out side circumferance than a 17 wheel. the further out the weight is the worse for performance

Not sure about weight or offset but there about 8 1/2" wide and for $200 I couldn't say no!

I got DiscountTire to include new TPMS valves.
I'll see how much they want to activate them for me at TGS...
My coilovers might be going on Apr 20 or 28.

Oh and what brand/grade of gas should I buy for daily use? Your recommendations are appreciated.

McEwen gas station on Bank street right by the 417. There is also a place called GreenStop which is close to maitland. (google GreenStop Ottawa)

GreenStop is very conveniently located near my work.

I drove by the McEwen on bank on sunday night and E85 was 1.16/L

1.16 x 45 litres (usual fill up from empty) = $52..... about $10 less per fill up but I'll only be getting ~400km per tank on e85 - so it works out to almost the same.

Shell 91 or Petro 94

I prefer shell 91 because it gets rid of the engine chirps.

Yep, Shell 91 almost exclusively. I filled up in Ogdensburg, 2 weeks ago with Sunoco93 and I swear I could feel the 4K torque dip a bit more. Shell91 back in last night and it always runs well. Never hear crickets either.

Interesting. So less mpg for less $$, makes it even.
But what hp level can you attain with the tune on E85?

Will running E85 on a stock tune make any difference in power/torque?

No issues with fuel lines and such on E85?

E85 increases the wheel horse power by about 35hp - pretty significant see this link: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=21190


people are claiming that E85 won't cause any fuel pump or line issues. (I won't be running E85 exclusively so i am not concerned, I'll only runn it when I really feel like I need that extra power, and not at all in the winter)

Due to drive train power loss, I equate 35 wheel horse power to about 42 crank horse power (+20%). So basically the stock FR-S has 200 crank hp (or 160 wheel hp), this means when I am running E85 my FR-S will have about 242 crank hp (or 195 wheel hp).
