I used mobil1 full synthetic 0w-20 in my BRZ for 2000 miles with no oil loss. I am using eneos sustina now, but just wanted to let folks know I ran mobil1 without issue.

I might try 5-30w or 10-30 next time. Motul and Ams oil are also great.

Only used Motul in the 2008 STI and never lost a drop of oil. I didn't want to chance losing oil (more fearful of losing oil pressure with that glass oil pickup...) with Mobil1 in the STI.

Nearly everyone who has used Mobil1 in a turbo Subaru motor has had issues with the oil disappearing. Maybe it will work in the BRZ/FR-S, but I'm not chancing it.

Mobil1 0W-40 is an excellent oil for a turbo Subaru (especially the SN version) and I have run it in my Cobb Stage 1 FXT with good uoa results.

I have no idea why someone would modify a WRX, and still run the factory recommended minimum oil grade, especially since 40 weights are allowed in severe conditions and required in hot temps. Nobody has shown that M1 0W-20 is not a good choice for a BRZ/FR-S. The 0W-20 Toyota Genuine Motor Oil is even made by ExxonMobil.

That's whats up!

Sadly I don't have a garage so I'm making do with an unfinished storage area within my otherwise finished basement. If only I could drive my car into it somehow...

Don't worry I have no space to park or drive in my car. My garage is merely there to hold all the junk and car parts/supplies for me haha

I want a shop.garage like @DarrenDriven

I wish someone would just carry this in a store or at least let me order it. I don't wanna pay $20 for shipping, and I don't feel like getting 4 cases at once. Bah!

Yes, regular Eneos 0W-20 and Eneos Sustina 0W-20 are both GF5.

Non-sustina Eneos 0w-20 is carried at NAPA. I picked up 6 quarts for $55.

NAPA are kinda who I was pointing my finger at. They're half way there, they just need the Sustina now. Still, if they're charging $55 for case of regular, than I'd imagine the Sustina will be pretty close to $80ish, anyway, so I might as well just get it online.

All your oil are belong to me

But seriously, hope you didn't need it too soon because I have 500 miles to go on a 4k OCI. Probably gonna push sustina to 5k
