To me it makes sense to have as little noise as possible artificially introduced to cabin, but hey I don't own the car "yet". Learning alot here...

I do like as others have stated from a "looks" perspective how a CAI like Injen, and Greddy etc clean it up, the Injen version "looks good" but sounds to be that is about it? lol.... I also now know that doing a tube and good quality filter does same if not more. What I do not know is if I were to get the Zeta or AVO tube if I should be going with or without the stock/noise generator option cause I honestly do not know how much actually noise introduction there is from this part....?
Since I have the Injen on my car still, I'll chime in.

Honestly, it does looks pretty damn good and certainly gets compliments at shows. Also, it sounds fantastic. It is MUCH louder than the factory air box with the generator and has a much deeper tone that is common with aluminum intakes.

Now for the reality check on the Injen and most of the other short ram intakes... Most of them, (Injen included) only are able to make more power by reducing the speed of the airflow into the engine giving the ECU a false reading. The ECU in turn leans out the mixture just slightly but enough to give a little more "pep". Nothing more, nothing less. Also, the Injen takes air from the engine compartment which can get pretty warm so it is not a CAI. Not a big deal when moving down the road but you will be sucking hot air when stopped.

All in all, I do "like" my Injen but down the road, I will be changing it out for the Perrin CAI or FA20 CAI.

Even with the major difference in the low end, it looks better across the band than the other options. I would take that with a slight top end hit. True cold air designs are really nice.
