NO ONE in this forum knows if any poster is a "lawyer" except the poster his/her self. It is all anonymous, so BEWARE of any legal advice given. The OP results in post #144 seems to degrade, or make useless, much, but not all, of the advice given. Nevertheless, Beware! Just my 'two cents', I usually charge $256/hour.

This just in, many lawyers are crooks. Look at how many are ruining the country, for example. That is all.

That's awesome news. Beautiful color too! Did subaru or the dealership give you any hard time at all during the process? I'm glad you still have faith in subauru cars. This is really bad publicity for them.

I don't know if anybody asked yet but...does this mean the fuel pump replacement does indeed kill the crickets?

Sorry I had to. I wouldn't joke if I didn't know you were safe and in a new car. By the way, very glad to hear that you're safe and in a new car.

Here is a summary of how it went down with the dealership.
At first the dealership tried to make my own insurance cover the cost of the car and repay me through them but I had told my insurance to put a hold on my claim because I believed it was the dealerships fault that my car had caught on fire. An investigation concluded that the source of the fire was fuel related and soon afterwards the dealership's insurance contacted me thru my lawyer and it took a while but things finally settled. The dealership did not set me up with my new BRZ, I had to look thru the subaru dealerships in socal until I had found one without markups. From the time my old car burnt down to when the dealership's insurance had paid me, I had a rental car from enterprise that was paid for by the dealership.

and about the color, WRB has always been my favorite color. SWP was a close second and a SWP came up before a WRB did when I was first looking for a BRZ so i pulled the trigger on the SWP
